Ph. D Nursing
Objective: | To review and apply the knowledge of research methodology, statistics and computer while conducting research. |
Duration: | 3 – 5 years |
Eligibility: |
a) For admission to Ph.D nursing, the candidate should have passes MSc Nursing with 55% marks from any recognized university.
b) Candidate should have registered with State Nursing Council as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife. |
MSc Nursing
Objective: | To provide a challenging learning environment for student to build on their critical enquiry and independent learning skill in the passage to become nurse educator, clinician and researcher who are responsible for to current and future health care needs. |
Duration: | 2 years |
Eligibility: |
a) For admission to M. Sc. (Nursing) course, candidate should have passed B.Sc.(Nursing) degree from any recognized university or post certificate B.Sc. Nursing exam of recognized University.
b) Candidates should have registered with state nursing council as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife. c) Should have 1 year experience of in the clinical area d) Should be medically fit |
BSc Nursing
Objective: | To create the learned support staff to cater the need of expert health solutions for future healthy India. |
Duration: | 4 years |
Eligibility: |
a) For admission to B. Sc. (Nursing) course, the candidate should have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained 45% marks for Open and 40% for SC/ST Category in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English in the qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSE or PUC. b) The candidate seeking admission to the course should be completing 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. c) Candidate should be medically fit. |
Post basic BSc Nursing
Objective: | To assume the responsibilities as professional, competent nurse and midwives at the basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services and to make independent decisions in nursing situations. |

For admission to GNM Nursing course
a) The candidate should be completing 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of admission. b) The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examination or its equivalent examination, preferable with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects from recognized Board / University situated in India with minimum 45% of aggregate marks. c) Candidate with Auxiliary Nurse Midwife qualification are also eligible if they have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination. d) Candidate should be medically fit. |
